Nominate Your Contractor for Remodeler of
the Year Awards
 |
|
Maryland
homeowners who hired an MHIC-licensed contractor for a 2006-2007
home improvement project are being asked to nominate their
contractor for a 2007 Remodeler of the Year Award given
by the Maryland Improvement Contractor's Association (MICA).
"We are encouraging homeowners to get involved in determining
this year's awards recipients," said MICA President
Clyde R. Thomson of Thomson Remodeling. "If they feel
their improvement contractor merits consideration for one
of MICA's award categories, they should contact MICA's offices.
We will then send this endorsement, along with the official
nomination form, to the contractor."
Upon
receipt of a nomination submission from a contractor, MICA
will send a letter to the homeowner asking for their opinion
of the project to be factored in to the judging process.

MICA
recognizes excellence in workmanship in 10
categories including: residential kitchen, residential
bathroom, residential interior, residential addition, residential
specialty, entire house remodeling, outdoor living, insurance
restoration, commercial projects, and residential historical
renovation/restoration projects. Membership in MICA is not
a requirement for submission and winners will be featured
in Chesapeake Home magazine.
